Enjoy WinterFest in the Iowa River Landing!
Experience the wonders of an Iowa winter at the third annual Coralville WinterFest. Last year over 1,500 people enjoyed a showcase of winter-time demonstrations, indoor and outdoor hands-on activities, entertainment, food, and frosty fun for all ages. The 2010 festival offers more seasonal delights that make WinterFest as unique as each snowflake.
This celebration will take place at on January 31 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at various venues in the Iowa River Landing, just east of 1st Avenue at 9th Street, including the Johnson County Historical Society, Marriott Hotel and Conference Center, Antique Car Museum of Iowa, and KCJJ radio station. Free parking available in the south surface lot off Quarry Road at the Marriott Hotel and Conference Center.
Jack Frost's friends can partake in everything from horse-drawn sleigh rides and ice sculpting to cross-country skiing and winter-related arts and crafts. Celebrate the snowy season and get ready for some really cool fun! For more information, call 351-5738.
