Company History

Technigraphics opened in 1977 with owners John & Carolyn Gross at Plaza Centre One in Iowa City's downtown pedestrian mall. 3 more locations followed: in Cedar Rapids, Coralville and Dubuque. After 31 years, 2008 was a major transition year for Technigraphics: John Gross retired, Vice President Dan Deininger became the owner, the Coralville location closed, and the Cedar Rapids location flooded and was temporarily re-located.

Now, the Technigraphics administrative office is located at the original location, in Plaza Centre One's lower level, along with the Copy Center on the first floor. The Cedar Rapids store has merged with Rapids Reproductions. The Dubuque location is known as Tri-State Blueprint & Framing , which has been in downtown Dubuque since 1942.
